Happy Sunday studio table bags

I have added these beautiful party table bags from the wonderful Happy Sunday Studio this year ( choosing my favourite liberty prints of course)! we all put some names into a hat and have picked out one person each to fill a bag for . I am hoping it gives the kids some practise in how to really put some thought into what might make someone smile!

We are going to hand write a joke or riddle each and me and the kids are going to attempt to make some cute felt party hats and crowns to be reused at the table each year. A few ideas for little presents might be stickers and tattoos ( Meri Meri do great ones), a little car (Candylab are my favourites), make up (love Nailmatic) , Maileg mice, stationary (check out Penco for the adults), a pretty face mask, playing cards/ a card game ( we love Djeco ones), jewellery and hair accessories ( so pretty at Rockahula), animal figures ( Schleich, Ostheimer, Holztiger) , a vintage toy from ebay (care bear?), a teether ( Oli and carol), felt fairy ( Conscious craft), mini doll (Alice In Scandiland Shop), little doll accessories ( Scandiborn) , Play food, tools etc. Plus maybe some crayons and some colouring sheets ( have a look at Squidgearoo) to keep the kids busy while the food is cooking!

The Little Coach House Wooden Tracing Boards

I have been searching for these montessori wooden tracing boards for a long time, so was so excited to discover some being made in England ( and right down the road from me) at The Little Coach House! We got a number board and alphabet one ( which amazingly comes in lower and upper case) and the boys were extra pleased with their personalised name ones, in fact they are so gorgeous they are going on display in their room. We tried out a few ways of using them today…
